WARRANTY
SHIFTPOD Shelter Limited Warranty

• What Is Covered
  • This Limited Warranty is made only to the original purchaser who acquires the SHIFTPOD for personal use within the continental United States.
  • Warranty Period: This Warranty will be in effect for one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. The original purchaser should retain a copy of the dated sales receipt.
  • If SHIFTPOD determines that an original product or parts are defective in materials or workmanship, subject to the exclusions below, SHIFTPOD will repair or replace at its expense.
  • This Limited Warranty does not mean that each SHIFTPOD is defect free. Defects may be unintentionally introduced during the design or manufacturing processes and such defects could result in the need for repairs. SHIFTPOD provides the Limited Warranty only to remedy manufacturing defects that result in part malfunction or failure during the warranty period.
• What Is Not Covered
  • This Limited Warranty does not cover wear and tear to a SHIFTPOD shelter. This includes, but is not limited to, abrasions, scuffing/scratches, cuts, burns, punctures, tears, fading caused by UV exposure, faded coloration, mildew, and mold.
  • This Limited Warranty does not cover a SHIFTPOD which has been altered in any way, improperly maintained, misused, abused, or neglected.
  • Mold, mildew, or other fungal growths are caused by improper maintenance and storage of your SHIFTPOD.
• Cost Warranty Repairs
  • The original owner will not be charged for repairs covered by this Limited Warranty.
  • Sometimes SHIFTPOD may offer a special adjustment to pay all or part of the cost of certain repairs beyond the terms of this Limited Warranty.
• Remedies:
  • The remedy under this Limited Warranty, and any implied warranty, is limited to repair, replacement, or adjustment of defective parts. This exclusive remedy shall not be deemed to have failed its essential purposes so long as SHIFTPOD is willing and able to repair, replace, or adjust the defective parts in the prescribed manner. SHIFTPOD’s liability, if any shall in no event exceed the cost of correcting manufacturing defects as herein provided and upon expiration of this warranty, any such liability shall terminate.
• Maintenance
  • Proper maintenance of your SHIFTPOD guards against repair expenses resulting from neglect or inadequate maintenance. It is your responsibility to make sure your SHIFTPOD is properly cleaned and maintained. Failure to perform proper maintenance as specified in the Cleaning & Care Instructions will invalidate warranty coverage on parts affected by the lack of maintenance.
  • Formal disclaimer: As a condition of this Limited Warranty, you are responsible for properly using, maintaining, and caring for your SHIFTPOD as outlined in the owner’s manual.
• Other Disclaimers:
  • SHIFTPOD disclaims all implied warranties if the SHIFTPOD is used for business or commercial purposes.
  • Any implied warranty, including the implied warranty of merchantability and implied warranty of fitness for any purpose is limited, to the extent allowed by law, to the duration of the Limited Warranty, or to the applicable time period provided by state law, whichever period is shorter.
